Bill vs Rams

When the Bills and Rams kickoff the NFL Season Thursday Night in Los Angeles, there is a good chance they could also be the final game of the season. Odds makers have the Bills as the favorite to be crowned Super Bowl Champions while the defending champion Rams are in the top 5. In terms of SEC Player connections there is the possibility of a Florida on Florida matchup between Rams wide receiver Van Jefferson and Buffalo first round 2022 draft pick cornerback Kaiir Elam. I imagine the two squared off in practice some when they shared the same time in Gainesville. Unfortunately, this matchup is not definite as Jefferson hasn’t been able to practice since having knee surgery in early August. Of course another good SEC player matchup will occur between Elam and Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, a Georgia product. While the Rams opened up as one point favorites back in May according to Vegas Insider, the Bills are now hovering around 2.0-2.5 favorites at the Gulf Coast Sportsbooks. I’m never been much of a Rams fan, but I find it hard to pick against a defending Super Bowl Champion in their home opener. Prediction Rams 27-Bills 24.
